Ankle Strengthening Exercises
Did you sprain your ankle? Does your ankle feel weak or unstable?
These exercises can help to strengthen your ankle following injury, or to improve the stability of your ankle to avoid injury! Here are some additional cues:
- 1-4. Band Exercises: Move at a slow pace and focus on the motion that returns to the starting position. Try to make the movement slow and smooth. You can change the difficulty by pulling more or less on the band.
- 5-6. Calf Raises/Progression: Try to keep your foot and ankle aligned with each other. Move slowly through your full range of motion.
