Stretching on the Turf

Turf Field

With 50 yards of field turf and the newest equipment, the possibilities are endless. We are able to accommodate each of our patient's through a comprehensive Physical Therapy program that can even include some sport specific training. Whether it's for football, soccer, running or getting you back to playing with your kids, we have the space to accommodate your needs.

Plyo Floor

Plyo Floor

Pictured here is a patient exercising on our Plyo floor; a section of the gym designated for jump and agility training. At JumpStart we believe in specificity of training and work to perfect form with all higher level activities so that our patient is at minimal risk for injury when returning back to their prior level of function.

Hockey Treadmill

Hockey Treadmill

Here is the state of the art hockey treadmill. It is made of a synthetic ice plastic that allows you to train in your skates as if you were truly on ice. The treadmill is designed to train you from the inside out-neurologically, metabolically and most important biomechanically, so that you can become a more efficient skater. The Hockey Treadmill tilts from 0- to a 32-percent grade and can operate at speeds over 16 miles per hour. We also have a Super G running treadmill that tilts up to 40% and reaches 28 miles per hour. Both pieces of equipment are hooked up to a camcorder/TV to record and playback your form with skating/running in order to allow us the full ability to assess your mechanics.

Leg Press

Leg Press

Another piece of the latest equipment is the Plyo leg press. The machine allows you to train using a squatting movement in a gravity eliminated position which is perfect for rehabilitation, especially in the early phases. The weight can be adjusted from as light as 15 lbs all the way up to 600 lbs. As our patients progress and get closer with returning to sports, the Plyo press also has the capacity to train for jumping exercises as well to ensure perfect form/mechanics.
